Division of Polymer Materials Technology (ZTMP) is a part of Polymer Institute at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering at West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. In 1997-2016 the Division was managed by prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Spychaj, currently by dr hab. Krzysztof Kowalczyk.

      The organizational structure of ZTMP from 2017 includes four laboratories:

• Laboratory of Coatings and Ecological Polymers
• Laboratory of Natural Polymer Materials
• Laboratory of Elastomers and Chemical Fibers Technology
• Laboratory of Polymers Thermal Analysis

      The ZTMP has experienced experts and well-equipped laboratories allowing to perform scientific research and development regarding to synthetic and natural polymers as well as composites and nanocomposites. Moreover, commercial research contracted by domestic and foreign companies are realized.

      The ZTMP has significant contribution to modern research and dissemination of scientific knowledge regarding to general area of polymer materials implemented by periodical scientific conference "Polymer Materials Pomerania-Plast" (inaugurated by prof. T. Spychaj) that took place in 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016. The next one is planned in 2019.
